Here are some additional logos, brands and sites created by myself.

THE CLIENT

Lucid Edit is the professional platform for author and editor-at-large, Pat Dobie. With over a decade of experience, Pat has worked with writers worldwide, helping them secure agents, self-publish successfully, and win prestigious awards.

THE BRIEF

Pat wanted a logo and website that reflected her passion for steampunk aesthetics while maintaining a modern and professional feel. The design needed to balance her unique style with a user-friendly interface, ensuring the site remained approachable and easy to navigate for potential clients.

THE APPROACH

I designed a minimalist wordmark using an art deco font family, capturing the elegance of steampunk design without overwhelming the brand’s modern sensibility. The website was structured into multiple clear, user-friendly pages to outline Lucid Edit’s services. Thoughtful navigation ensures visitors can quickly find information, while the visual design integrates subtle steampunk-inspired elements for a cohesive and distinctive brand identity.

THE CLIENT

Carla Arnason, an award-winning Winnipeg-based Realtor and star of HGTV’s Hoarder House Flippers, sought a logo that encapsulated her professionalism and modern approach while reflecting the elegance and sophistication of her brand.

THE BRIEF

Carla needed a logo that was sleek, minimalistic, and versatile, aligning with her real estate industry and public persona. The design had to convey modernity and refinement while remaining timeless and professional.

THE APPROACH

I developed two design options for Carla’s brand. The first was a clean, minimalist wordmark that emphasized elegance and modernity through carefully chosen typography. The second included a distinctive logo mark featuring her initials seamlessly integrated into the outline of a house. This version symbolized her real estate expertise while maintaining the clean, contemporary aesthetic Carla desired. Both options offered versatility for digital and print use, ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.

THE CLIENT

John Hildebrand is a seasoned Vancouver-based percussionist and drum instructor with over 25 years of teaching experience in Vancouver and the North Shore.

THE BRIEF

John sought a logo and website to promote his new drum school. The logo needed to strike a balance between professionalism and approachability, appealing to both families and children. He specifically wanted a drum represented in the logo and envisioned a hip, vintage vibe achieved through the use of an older script font.

THE APPROACH

I designed a logo mark featuring a stylized drum to anchor the brand visually. The accompanying typography utilized a classic script font to evoke a retro charm while maintaining a polished, approachable tone. For the website, I carried the vintage aesthetic forward with clean layouts, warm colors, and engaging visuals, ensuring the design remained family-friendly and easy to navigate for prospective students.
